Jonathan Adler Hans Low Planter
Featuring abstracted shapes wrapped around and folded into each other, our Hans planters are a modern take on industrial material and fabrication.
Available in three unique shapes and sharing the same textural finish, each is handcrafted from chattered aerated cement by artisans from clay models sculpted by Jonathan and his team in our Soho pottery studio.
On an asterisks-inspired base, our Hans Low Planter is a little Scandi and trés architectural.
Available in three sizes, our Hans planters are perfect for showcasing your shrubbery and sprucing up your home garden.
Dimensions:
-
Large: 68.6 cm Dia., 35.6 cm H
Materials:
-
Textured white aerated cement
Imported.
Jonathan was (and is) a potter first: rough, smooth, glossy or mottled, each piece of our pottery still starts its journey in our Soho pottery studio where he and his team sculpt the original model in clay.
Care & Cleaning:
-
This planter should not be outside in below-freezing temperatures.
-
Cement planters used outdoors will develop a patina after a few seasons.
-
To clean, fill a bucket with water and 2–3 tablespoons of mild biodegradable dish detergent, wet a scrubbing brush, and scrub the inside.
-
To sanitize, mix household bleach and water (3 cups of bleach per 1 gallon of water) in a spray bottle and spray the interior.
-
Cleaning and sanitizing between uses prevents plant-to-plant disease spread.
-
Let the planter dry completely before planting new plants.
